Milli Fire 2017

The Milli Fire is just outside Sisters, OR and as of August 19tth has caused evacuations for over 600 people. Milli was a lightening caused wildfire in the tinder dry wilderness area on Black Crater and was only one of 67 fires started in two days of thunderstorms on the Oregon Cascades. In one week it exploded to 7,814 acres and became a top national priority as high winds propelled it toward numerous homes and subdivisions.
